ASN starts a charity campaign to help little girl from Azerbaijan

11. Jun. 2018

Ver1Dear friends,

We would like to start a campaign to help a little girl Veronika from Azerbaijan. After years of unsuccessful treatment in Azerbaijan her family came to Czech Republic to seek there treatment of idiopathic scoliosis (M4100) that she suffers from.

Since she was five years old Veronika has been treated with conservative methods of treatment (exercises and massage), however, the treatment does not help and the only option according to Prof. MUDr. Jan Štulik, CSc. from the Center for Spinal Surgery at Motol University Hospital in Prague is a surgical operation.
The Motol University Hospital issued proforma invoice for hospitalization and two surgeries constituting 1,328,848 CZK. Thanks to Medica Mente Group s.r.o. the bill came down to 1,040,000 CZK. This sum will cover hospitalization and two surgeries, and first steps of rehabilitation.

However, even selling almost everything they have, the family was able to collect only 484,000czk. In order to start the procedure, they need to find missing 556000 CZK.

Ver.jpgMissing the June surgery opening now they have to wait till September 17, 2018.

Two years ago we were able to help our fellow student Süleyman Novruzov that also had to be hospitalized to Motol hospital.

We believe that we can do it one more time for little Veronika. Every person that donates will receive a pen with ASN logo as a gratitude gift.
