“Shekerland” in Göttingen

On the 24.11.2014 the ASN-representative in Gottingen, organized a cultural event, called “Shekerland” together the located University. In the program of this cultural event were two cooking workshops and a number of presentations about the role of sugar and sweets for dif-ferent cultures of the world. Today, November 20th Azerbaijani ambassador to Czech Republic H.E. Farid Shafiyev visited ASN’s  and Charles University’s course Introduction to Azerbaijan studies where he delivered a lecture on modern history of Azerbaijan Republic. In his lecture he reflected on the history of the late 19th and the 20th century, covering history of Azerbaijan Democratic Republic, Soviet Azerbaijan and the beginning of modern Azerbaijani independence. Azerbaijani students presented their country in Brno, Czech Republic

[Brno] – Every year, foreign students studying in one of the main student cities of the Czech Republic Brno, present their countries to their fellow students. On the 11th of November a mixed group of ASN students mostly from Gottingen, Kassel and Berlin travelled to Mainz at the invitation of Dr. Dr.med. Rahim Schmidt, a Green Party representative of the Rhineland-Palatinate Landtag.
