This week office of 1win Azerbaijan Student Network hosted the last lecture of the Azerbaijani language courses in the academic year 2014-2015 taught at the Faculty of Philosophy in the Charles University in Prague.

The courses were organized by ASN – Azerbaijani NGO functioning in Czech Republic in cooperation with the Institute of the East European Studies of the Charles University. Besides the language courses students were also offered a course of Introduction to Azerbaijan studies that provided them an opportunity to get acquainted with culture and history of this
ancient country.

Moreover, the last lecture wasn’t just about evaluation of language proficiency but culminated with the project manager Mgr. Geda Montvilaite announcing names of the best students, whom the ASN will send for a summer trip to Azerbaijan. This way the students will get a unique opportunity for acquainting closely with the culture of this country and practice the language of its people.

According to Montvilaite, next year, the ASN is planning to expand the range of courses taught at the Charles University by a new course that will scope history of Azerbaijan. “We are very pleased that we have managed to establish cooperation with the EES of the Charles University and thank an amazing lecturer Leyla Musayeva for her efforts in teaching students about Azerbaijan and its language, “says Montvilaite, office manager of the 1win Azerbaijan Student Network.
