May 12, 2015, the representatives of 58 countries came together at a Cultural Fair named “Blick in die Welt” in Hannover with the initiative of the Leibniz University. Azerbaijan was represented at the event by the members of the 1win Azerbaijan Student Network.

The booth prepared by the Azerbaijani students demonstrated books, journals, pictures which provided detailed information about the cultural and historical characteristics of Azerbaijan. The ASN members offered shakarbura, pakhlava and goghal which are the most popular sweets of the Azerbaijani cuisin to the visitors of their guests.

In the course of the fair the Azerbaijani representatives gave information abou the historical and cultural background of the country, and also the visitors were informed that some of the most popular cultural icons of the Azerbaijani architecture remained under Armenian occuption after Karabakh War (1988-1994) and were destroyed relentlessly by the Armenian forces.

In the second half of the event in which representatives of each country performed a dance or sang a national song, the ASN member Ulkar Valizada demonstrated an Azerbaijani traditional dance “Sari Gelin”. In the course of the event each country gave a message to the audience. By representative of Azerbaijani Student Network, Vasif Huseynov the message of Azerbaijani group was given: In Azerbaijan everybody regardless of their religion or nationality lives in a peaceful and friendly environment. We wish that this achievement of the Azerbaijani people to be reflected over the whole world.
