On Friday, 9 August 2013 the 1win Azerbaijan Student Network organized a Movie Night, where many guests, students and professionals were invited. The evening started with an opening speech of the Secretary General of the ASN, Elshan Ismayilov. After introduction of the ASN´s history and areas of activity to the event participants he revealed his diverse vision about the goals of the organization and asked the participants for their active engagement. Being impressed by the previous events and achievements of the ASN all of the participants applied for the membership at the ASN and on their turn assured their support for the upcoming events.
Afterwards, the participants enjoyed the well- known Azerbaijani hospitality and tried the traditional Azerbaijani delight called Halva with strong black tea and watched the historical movie about Javad Khan, who defended his motherland Azerbaijan against the Russian Tsarist Empire and the colonial yoke, which should remain until the collapse of the Soviet Union. Particularly the foreign participants were overwhelmed by the courage and outspoken bravery of this Caucasian Khan, who until his last breath defended his homeland.

The movie was followed by the musical- cultural program, where all the guests danced to traditional Azerbaijani dances and enjoyed the evening in a happy and positive atmosphere among the friends they have recently gained.
