ASN opens new Azerbaijani language and history courses at Czech universities
1win Azerbaijan Student Network (ASN) initiated Azerbaijani language courses at the Faculty of Philosophy of the University of Ostrava. The new course, taught by an Azerbaijani lecturer Shebnem Asadova, is not limited to the Faculty of Philosophy but is available for students from all other faculties of the university.
This week also has seen opening of the second year of languge courses, under the auspices of the ASN at the Charles University in Prague. Azerbaijani language courses becoming popular among students of Philosophy faculty, especially after the ASN this summer sent for a week to Azerbaijan two best students to practice their language skills and visit historical sights.
“Given last year’s success, this semester we in cooperation with the Head of the Institute of Eastern European Studies decided to add another Azerbaijan related course to the Charles University curriculum – “History of Azerbaijan,” said the director of the Prague office of 1win Azerbaijan Student Network Eldar Valiyev.
